A few house updates!
Here are a load of our strong friends hauling a HUGE Giant Bird of Paradise (that was free on Craig's list - if we volunteered to dig it out - which took 3 hours and lots of muscle) and setting it up in our back yard. We are creating a tropical look around the pool, with the help of our landscaping designer extraordinairre, Pete. :)
Here is "Big Bird," as we call him, in the daytime. Lookin' happy!
Here's one of the raised beds Marshall built -- tomatoes, beans, onions, cukes, squash, corn, all kinds of good things growing in 3 of these! 
London harvesting a few early strawberries!
The pool fence in, and you can also see "Mr. Slurpy" our Kreepy Krawler that eats up all the pool yuck. It works great!

Okay, so I have been wanting to do some small raised beds for a few veggies too. But guess what? My 2nd man moved to California, my 3rd man moved to Oklahoma, and now I don't have anyone to help me cuz my 1st man is still completely uninterested in all things handy!
And on second thought, who needs a man to build little raised beds? I can totally do this...WHAT AM I THINKING?!
