La Heading to La Jolla (La-Hoya)

Cousin Will and Nate headed to fill up their buckets. It's sand castle time!

The unsuspecting victims of the next "bigger than Aunt Claudia expected" wave. We were just trying to fill our buckets! Luckily, Aunt Claudia was able to save all 3 kids and the camera too. Whew.

Aw! Cute cousin love!

Ok, so maybe March is still a little chilly at the beach....see the blue lips?

Look beyond the silly faces, and you'll see the sleepy seals at the Children's Cove, just down the road from La Jolla beach. It is such a great site! You can walk out on a huge long pier that wraps around the cove, getting a great view of the seals and at the same time feeling like you're standing in the middle of the ocean! At night you get splashed too!

On the flip side....

In case you were wondering how London stood sideways, I fixed that one pic for you!

A fishing we will go!

oops. this is actually at the end of the field trip where London got eaten by a shark........
just kiddin.

Here's the super cool entrance to Birch Aquarium in San Diego. London's preschool took a field trip there. I am not sure how they get the whales to stand still so long, but it's cool to see how much bigger they are than our little squirt.

Can you find the Sea Dragon? It's so cool!

Had to put on a grumpy face for the nice field trip dad taking our pic. ha! Our little comedian.

I'm hoping that's not a gang symbol......Here is the little one in front of a way cool ginormouse aquarium tank. Another favorite thing we found here was they have this huge circular tank FULL of silver sardines swimming in circles. (say that 10 times fast)
